When exiting a large store, you’re often faced with a choice: the automatic door, or the ol’ push/pull door. While most people choose the automatic door, you’re special and you realize that everything automatic requires energy to automate. Why not use your own energy to open a door once in a while? It’s free, easy and produces no pollution. Automatic doors also stay open longer than manual doors, allowing more heating/cooling to escape from the store, requiring more heating and cooling to be pumped in. Sigh… Do your part to reduce this expense of energy, and feel confident that all your tiny changes are adding up to a big impact.
