You may have already done the work to keep your junk mail at bay (see “Junk Mail” in our Think Big section), but sometimes those pesky credit card applications sneak their way to your mailbox. So what’s a greenie to do? Keep those return envelopes they tuck inside the junk and turn them into usable envelopes. Just cross out that return address and put a stamp over the prepaid – and voila: free stationary! It might take a little bit of creativity to make it pretty, but bills will just do just fine. Recycle the rest of your junk and you’ve got it made in the stationary-shade.
