so fresh and so clean?

Do you like your home or car to smell like an Ocean Breeze, an Autumn Sunset or a Fresh Baked Birthday Cake? If so, you’re probably like millions of others who use air fresheners. Do you know what’s in your air freshener? If not, don’t feel bad. Until recently, air freshener manufacturers didn’t need to disclose their products’ ingredients. Thanks to pressure from a coalition of environment and health groups, these ingredients have recently been revealed to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The organizations will now pressure the Agency to evaluate the safety of the ingredients individually and in combination with each other. While that’s progress, we won’t know what exactly we’re spraying, burning and misting into our personal air space until the EPA gets to the bottom of it. In the mean time, why risk it? Consider keeping your home or car smelling yummy with natural fragrances, like a bowl of pine needles, lavender, green tea leaves or fresh flowers. If minimizing odors is your goal, stock up on air-purifying plants and place baking soda in strategic stink-zones.
