October’s Green Screen: A Global Warning?

A Global Warning?

It’s the hot topic that Al Gore made chic and has been called the “greatest murder mystery of all time.” It’s also one of the biggest debates and disagreements of our time: is the earth naturally going through global warming or is it the result of human presence and activity?

Originally shown on the History Channel in November of 2007, this film covers all demensions of climate change in scientific and laymens terms, stretching across scortched wastelands through to frozen fields of methane underwater. Learn what role carbon dioxide has truly played and what levels it had to get up for global temperatures to rise so much that dinosuars were defeated and other atmosphere-choking prehistoric events occured.

These are the facts, kids, straight and direct into your gray matter. And yes, that means this isn’t a feel good movie. The only thing will make you feel a little better? You’ll know the meaning of “gorgonopsian” and can drop it in your next conversation at a back-to-school tailgating party.

And maybe that will spur another conversation….
