Beauty comes from within…the kitchen.

Most cosmetics we use on a daily basis contain a combination of various chemicals and preservatives – many of which have NOT been tested extensively due to relaxed policies in the industry. 60% of what we put on our skin and in our hair winds up being absorbed into our body so its important to know what all those fancy words on the labels really mean. Of course there are healthier alternatives to buy but if you really want to get a handle on your products – make em’ yourself. Look no further than your own fridge and pantry, make as much or as little as you like, save money and breathe easy knowing exactly what you’re slathering on.
June is strawberry season so don’t just eat ‘em, take advantage!
Soften those rough spots and get an overall glow with a Strawberry Exfoliate:
Wash and strain 6-10 organic strawberries
Lightly mash
Add 2 tsp kosher or sea salt
Mix in 2 tbsp olive oil
Massage over body and leave on until you feel delicious, rinse well.
For a berry bright smile try Strawberry Teeth Whitener:
Rub mashed organic strawberry directly on your teeth and rinse – so simple you can do it while you eat breakfast!
